NUSSER Stadtmöbel becomes "climate fit"

The state of Baden-Württemberg supports small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing climate protection measures. As part of the Klimafit program, companies and organizations can undergo a climate check in several stages with external support and identify potential for improvement. NUSSER Stadtmöbel, along with four other companies from the region, received support in the first stage from the Rems-Murr District Energy Agency. A CO2 footprint was compiled for the Winnenden site in spring 2025, energy sources were analyzed, and potential measures were considered. Since we have been generating our own PV power for many years, using thermally insulated buildings, heating with wood waste, and systematically using rainwater, the greatest potential for optimization currently lies in the area of ​​mobility. Electric vehicles will be increasingly used here in the future. We are excited about the next steps; it's even a pleasure to be moving forward with a certain sporting ambition.
